The Vg460 Poly Alpha Olefin Pao Fully-Synthetic Gear Oil is a fully synthetic heavy-duty gear oil that is composed of base oil. It is sourced from Syntholube and is designed for use in heavy-duty bearings, gear coupling points, and closed gears under harsh conditions.
This gear oil offers excellent resistance to micro pitting corrosion and fusion wear protection at high and low temperatures. It has outstanding EP performance, can withstand high loads, and has a high natural viscosity index. The gear oil also has excellent shear stability, a low friction coefficient, and a low pour point, making it suitable for use in very low temperatures. Additionally, it has good antioxidant stability, making it suitable for use at high temperatures with a longer lifespan.
